Allison Zamarripa is an educator, consultant, and advocate for building capacity and collective efficacy with teachers. She has over 18 years of experience as a middle school teacher, instructional coach, and district literacy specialist in a recognized Model PLC at Work® district.
Allison Zamarripa
Allison Zamarripa is a highly experienced education professional with over 18 years in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and adult learning. She excels at creating high-quality instructional materials and managing content development projects that align with TEKS and Common Core standards across K-12 digital and print platforms. Allison partners with districts nationwide to design and deliver standards-aligned content and training, developing customized instructional frameworks and curriculum maps to meet diverse school needs.
Her extensive background at Pasadena ISD includes roles as a literacy curriculum and instructional specialist, where she designed K-8 curriculum and assessments, as well as project management for cross curricular teams through digital and print curriculum. She also served as an instructional coach/teacher, leading district-wide curriculum development and facilitating professional learning communities. Most recently, while maintaining her curriculum role, Allison supported campuses, focusing on whole-campus systems and structures to enhance teacher collaboration, data utilization, and overall campus management. She also provided real-time support for the Two-Way Dual Language program, helping prepare for One-Way Dual Language implementation.
Allison holds a master's in educational leadership from Concordia University and a bachelor’s in history from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. She is certified in 4-8 English language arts teaching and K-12 administration in Texas.
