Aubrey Curran
Aubrey Curran is an educational consultant and trainer with 25 years of experience. He has served as a head of school, whole school principal, middle school principal, and curriculum coordinator at international schools in Holland, China, Trinidad and Tobago, and Japan. Aubrey focuses on understanding the dynamics of international school cultures and how school leaders can effectively impact them, and he has consulted for over 50 schools in the Asia/Pacific region and Europe. In addition, he has led more than 40 workshops and training sessions worldwide and online. His current role is training workshop leaders for a leading international educational organization.
Having served on accreditation teams for the Council of International Education and the International Baccalaureate Organization, Aubrey’s recent focus has been on professional learning and staff evaluation systems with the goal of supporting the development of a healthy school culture. He has also pioneered a staff evaluation model with differentiated pathways to address the diverse needs of teachers.
Aubrey holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary geography education from the University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam and an advanced certificate in management in international education from the University of Bath.
