Mind the Gaps Virtual Institute

Transform Learning Gaps into Achievement Gains

Mind the Gaps Virtual Institutes are a new way to attend a Solution Tree event in real time. Live-stream this Solution Tree Institute directly to your personal device to view live sessions from expert practitioners and participate in a live Q&A session—packed with the same powerful strategies and tools you would receive by attending in person.

The recent dramatic changes to the world of K–12 education have made it difficult to travel for professional development. To help educators continue their learning and ensure the well-being of teachers and students alike, Solution Tree has created new Mind the Gaps Virtual Institutes for Travel-Free PD.

Due to school closures and missed instructional time, there will be significant increases in student learning gaps when classes resume this fall. Join us at the Mind the Gaps Virtual Institute to learn practical actions you can take now to navigate this unprecedented challenge.

Led by our team of experts, this event offers targeted virtual sessions that detail how to proactively address rapidly widening achievement gaps across grade levels and subject areas. Teachers, leaders, and teams will learn together how to determine essential learnings, accurately measure student progress, and develop a system of interventions for learners who need additional time and support.

While planning for the diverse needs of students is not new, the complexity and uncertainty of the current educational landscape requires urgent action on behalf of schools and districts. Begin developing an intentional plan now, and make a world of difference to student learning for the 2020−2021 school year and beyond.

  • Learn how to identify students in need of intensive support before the school year begins.
