Behavior Solutions: A Practical Road Map for Behavior Success in All Tiers Workshop

Neosho, Missouri | January 20–21, 2025
$769.00

If we have learned anything from teaching during the pandemic, it is that the term “behavior” doesn’t simply refer to a disruptive student; it refers to academic behaviors (skill-based) and social behaviors (will-based), and both must be taught and reinforced in every tier of systematic behavior supports at your school.

Fostering positive behavior by utilizing the PLC at Work® and RTI at Work™ processes will boost your school’s positive school culture, increase attendance, improve behavior, prepare students for life, and address inequities in school discipline. This workshop is designed to create a practical road map for meeting the needs of the whole child.

  • Identify your school’s current reality in each tier.
  • Create a road map for successful schoolwide implementation.
  • Acquire strategies to avoid implementation barriers.
  • Discover how to function as a PLC with the focus on behavior and assign RTI in each tier.
  • Study each tier of behavioral support—prevention, intervention, and remediation—and understand how to construct successful behavior intervention processes at each tier.
  • Recognize the roles and responsibilities for the leadership team, intervention team, and teacher teams during implementation.
  • Gain evidence-based solutions to address complex behavior challenges.

“I thought that the presenters were knowledgeable and spoke from experience. It is great to hear from actual educators talking about the field of education. Some workshops that I have attended in the past were by people who had never taught and who had never been in a classroom past their own education, and it showed. The Hannigans did a great job.”

Daisy Steven, teacher, Lompoc Unified School District, California

“The most valuable aspect of the workshop was being able to go into detail about each tier.”

Faith James, teacher, Osceola School District, Arkansas
