Bob Carter

Bob Carter is an educational leader and presenter with over three decades of service in education in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and abroad. As Principal, he has led significant improvements in three elementary and middle schools, two of which were recognized as Model PLC at Work® schools.

Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in educational studies from the University of Alberta, where his research focused on leading and sustaining educational change. He has extensive experience working with traditionally marginalized students, including English language learners, having served as principal in schools with predominantly English learners and as an educator in Japan. He has presented his work and led learning alongside educators in various school, district, union, national, and international settings. Since 2017, Bob has applied his passion and expertise as an educational consultant, cultivating clarity and commitment to doing whatever it takes to achieve high levels of learning for all.
