“Since the COVID pandemic, an overwhelming amount of research has raised concerns about the mental health and wellness of today’s students. Dr. Canada’s book, Compassion as Our Compass, stresses the importance of interacting with students with empathy and compassion in order to address a student’s emotional needs.
