Who should attend a Solution Tree event? You! Thousands of educators from a variety of schools and districts have benefited from attending Solution Tree events. Whether you are a superintendent, principal, curriculum director, or classroom teacher, you are guaranteed a full PD experience that offers essential frameworks for improved student performance.
Do I need to have a team to attend a 2-day workshop? No—but we recommend it! Research suggests attending with a team allows you to apply your learning more seamlessly; however, if your team can't make it, you may be able to stream the event to your school or district.
How do I register a team? Please register members at the same time. To add an individual to the group, call Customer Service at 800.733.6786 or email [email protected].
Will a workshop be worthwhile for me to attend as an individual, or should I wait until I can register a team? While most workshops include built-in team time, many individuals attend with a train-the-trainer approach and plan their presentation during team time.
How do I register more than one individual at a time? Change the number in the quantity field, and additional registration forms will populate. If you are planning to register 5 or more individuals, please use our multiple registration form. Email multiple registration forms to [email protected].
Are meals included at Solution Tree events? Refer to the event agenda for details.
Can I email my registration for an event? Yes, send your registration to [email protected]. We will follow up with any additional information.
If an event is sold out, what can I do? Contact Customer Service at 800.733.6786 to discuss waiting lists and alternative events or to explore streaming the event live to your school or district.
How do I substitute another attendee for a registration I have already confirmed? Send your substitution request to [email protected], at least 5 days prior to the event. Please include the name of the individual currently registered, the event, and your substitute's name and email address.
How do I cancel my registration? All sales for the virtual events are final. If Solution Tree reschedules a live event, customer’s event registrations will automatically apply to the rescheduled event. If Solution Tree changes a live event to a virtual event, customer’s event registrations will automatically apply to the virtual event. If Solution Tree cancels a live or virtual event, customer’s event registrations will be converted to Portable Event Package. For On-Site Events, cancellations for more than 90 days prior will require a $75 processing fee per registration. Cancellations between 10 and 90 days prior will require half of the registration fee per registration. No refunds for cancellations less than 10 days prior. We welcome and recommend substitutions for those who cannot attend. The cancellation policy applies to all requested transfers. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and can be submitted to [email protected].

How do I receive credit for attending a Solution Tree event? You will receive a certificate of attendance six weeks after the event. If you did not receive your certificate, please contact [email protected].
How do I bring a Solution Tree event to my school or district? Start the conversation by calling Customer Service at 800.733.6786. We're always happy to discuss your needs!
I’m hard of hearing, and I’d like to request closed captioning for my virtual/streaming event programming. How might I make this request? Please contact our events team in advance of the event you are attending so that we can ensure the service is available to you.
Are your webinars recorded? Yes, and they are posted on our webinars page.
Can I get credit for attending webinars? We don't offer credit, but you can get proof that you attended by emailing your request to [email protected].
I've never planned a professional development day. Where do I start? Give us a call (800.733.6786), and we'll guide you through the booking process. Our team will match you with an expert poised to meet your school's or district's unique needs.
What are the costs? Costs vary by expert, and travel and accommodation expenses are often included in the price. We'll work with you to create a sustainable plan that's budget friendly.

Will I be able to contact the expert before my PD date(s)? Absolutely! After the contracting process is complete, we'll put you in touch with your expert to plan for your PD date(s).
What can my staff do to prepare? We're happy to recommend relevant books, videos, webinars, and other resources to help your team prepare for your PD date(s). Your expert may also have suggestions.
How long is a typical PD workshop? A typical workshop lasts six to seven hours, including time for lunch and breaks.
Are resources included with the PD date(s)? In most cases, resources are not included in the price of your PD; however, volume discounts are available. We're happy to work with you to select materials that complement the focus of your PD.
How far in advance should I book my PD? We book dates as far in advance as two years and as close as two weeks before. We recommend that you try for sometime in between. Generally, a variety of factors, such as the time of year, the expert's schedule, etc., affect the process.
What's the best way to follow up a PD date(s)? Our interactive web or video conferences are a wonderful platform for following up with an expert.
Am I responsible for making my expert's travel arrangements? No, our experts handle their own travel arrangements.

When will I receive my online PD product? Your online PD product will be accessible through your Solution Tree web account once your payment has been processed.* When the payment has been processed, the purchaser will receive an email confirmation with retrieval instructions. If multiple online PD products are purchased, you will also receive access codes.
*Please Note: When using a check or purchase order, the order submitted online will not be processed until Solution Tree receives the check or a copy of the official signed purchase order. Your purchase order must note payment terms of net 30 days. We cannot process purchase orders that do not note these payment terms. Please submit all payments to [email protected].
If your subscription was purchased as a part of a bulk order, please retrieve the access code from the purchaser.
How do I access the online PD product? Once your payment has been processed, you can access your playlist by logging into your web account on SolutionTree.com. Once logged in, click on “My Account” located at the top of the screen—this will take you to your dashboard. Then click on the relevant product type on the left-hand side of the screen.
After logging into your web account on SolutionTree.com, for future login, you may also choose to log in at app.globalpd.com using your Solution Tree login credentials.
How long do I have access to this online PD product? You will have access to the product for 1 year from the day payment is received.
What are the technical requirements for accessing the online PD product? Internet access is required. High-speed Internet access is best for viewing videos.
What if I have trouble accessing the online PD product? Call 800.733.6786 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET or email [email protected].
What are the shipping and handling costs? There are no shipping or handling costs associated with the playlist. For book purchases, standard shipping costs apply. Please visit the Product Orders page for more information on shipping and handling costs.
What if I need to request a refund? RETURN POLICY: We are unable to accept returns or cancel previously placed orders.

What are your shipping and handling rates? Do they change for expedited orders? On our Product Orders page, you will find our shipping and handling rates, as well as additional fees for expedited (rush) shipping. Rush fees are charged by location. About how long will it take me to receive my order? Ground orders should be received three to ten days after the order is placed.
What is Solution Tree's connection to Marzano Resources? In 2008, Solution Tree announced a joint venture with internationally acclaimed researcher Dr. Robert J. Marzano to create Marzano Research. In 2019, Solution Tree sold the research division to BNP Education Partners, LLC. Solution Tree continues its support of teachers and administrators through the Marzano Resources division.
