Geoffrey Fenelus is a corporate benefits advisor based in NFP’s Indianapolis office. In this role, he partners with charter schools, nonprofits, and small to mid-size businesses to design and implement employee benefits programs that achieve bottom-line results, increase employee satisfaction, and improve overall company culture. He has a passion for building long-term relationships with clients and helping them address their most complex challenges.
As an advocate on behalf of the employer, Geoffrey takes a collaborative approach to benefits and strives to help organizations and their people overcome issues and uncertainties with tailored solutions driven by active listening, hands-on guidance, specialized expertise, and human connections.
Geoffrey has an extensive background in the education sector including but not limited to roles such as teacher, turnaround school principal, and executive director. Most recently, he was the founder and executive director of Promise Prep. He also served as a school leader at a charter network school that performed in the top 3–5% in the state of New York.
Geoffrey is a board member for CAFÉ (Community Alliance of the Far Eastside) and 9/13 Sports. In addition, he is an alumni of the Surge Institute and a member of Education Leaders of Color.
