Josh Campbell is the principal of Mance Park Middle School in Huntsville, Texas. With over 23 years of experience at the middle and secondary level and a focus on continuous improvement, he is passionate about transforming school culture through the development of highly effective collaborative teams to ensure learning for all students.
Josh has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal at the campus level as well as a coordinator and director at the district level. His experience in both campus and leadership has equipped him to build and support highly effective collaborative teams that live and breathe the essential components of a professional learning community (PLC).
As a presenter, Josh specializes in the work of collaborative teams, guiding coalition development, systemic change, response to intervention, and common formative assessment. As principal of Mance Park Middle School, he led the school through the PLC at Work® process, which transformed school culture by transitioning a low-performing campus to the PLC process within a few years. Josh was selected for the Texas ASCD Leadership Academy and the Rice University Executive Leadership Cohort, and he was named a National Life Changer of the Year Award Recipient as well as 2020 Administrator of the Year by the Huntsville Item.
Josh earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Arkansas State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from William Woods University.
