Welcome to the August 2021 edition of Learning and Leading.
Back to school already? It’s difficult to believe that we are preparing for the start of the 2021–22 school year in Canada. After the last year and a half of teaching and learning during a pandemic—and some educators engaged in intermittent remote learning—this summer holiday has been a much-needed and well-deserved break.
As we anticipate a return to in-person classes this fall, this edition is focused on back to school preparations. You’ll find an assortment of professional reading, viewing, and listening opportunities to prepare and energize you for the beginning of the new school year. We have also featured some virtual events and encourage you to visit the Solution Tree Education Canada website to explore all the virtual events available to you this fall.
We wish you a healthy and successful 2021–22 school year.
