Pam Dean

Pam Dean is principal of Park Avenue Elementary, a Model PLC at Work® school in Arkansas. Previously, she served as a physical education and health teacher, a coach, and an assistant principal.

Pam Dean

Pam Dean began her educational career in Stuttgart School District in 2001, serving as a physical education and health teacher and coach before being named assistant principal of Park Avenue Elementary in 2009. After becoming principal in 2013, Pam led Park Avenue to national recognition as a Model PLC at Work® school, achieved Master Principal designation, and was featured in Administrator, the monthly publication of the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators. She has also served as the Lead Quest Principal for the state of Arkansas and zone director of the Arkansas Association of Elementary School Principals and is a PLC practitioner for the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators/Arkansas Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

In her presentations and training sessions, Pam shares firsthand experience in becoming a highly effective PLC. She guides educators through engaging activities and discussions to strengthen the PLC process.

Pam earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Harding University.
