Christi McBride

Christi McBride is the director of Hoosier Hills Career Center in Indiana. She began her career in education as an elementary and high school counselor before transitioning into high school administration. She works with students, staff, and community partners to provide positive, productive outcomes. As part of this work, she co-developed the YES! Youth Employability Skills curriculum, which is dedicated to engaging and empowering students.

Christi received the 2015 Indiana Association for Career and Technical Education Administrator of the Year Award. In 2018, she was honored with the Women Excel Bloomington Award from the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce for her leadership in the educational and business community. She was also named the 2020 Administrator of the Year by the Family Career and Community Leaders of America.

Christi earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University Bloomington. She received her license in educational leadership from Indiana State University.
