Daniel L. Vollrath, EdD, is a special education teacher at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in New Jersey. Serving in various teaching roles extending over 20 years, Dr. Vollrath has worked within the general, inclusive, and resource room settings. Productive behaviors are a focal point in his curriculum and instruction. In addition, Dr. Vollrath works as a consultant for the Institute for Habits of Mind. Together with school districts around the nation, Dr. Vollrath instructs and supports administrators and staff on implementing Habits of Mind into curriculum and daily instruction.

Dr. Vollrath has been recognized by Who’s Who in America for his post-pandemic work in the field of building habits and productive behaviors within schools. As an author, Dr. Vollrath has published multiple articles with the online Teachers Matter Magazine; Edutopia, founded by filmmaker George Lucas; and various blogs pertaining to education.

Dr. Vollrath received a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Temple University, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Delaware Valley University, and a doctorate in special education leadership from Arcadia University.
