Georgina Rivera is an elementary school principal with over 20 years of experience in public education. She works with educators and leaders to build collaborative teams and ensure all students receive high-quality mathematics instruction.

Georgina Rivera

Georgina Rivera is currently an elementary school principal. She has also served as a middle school mathematics teacher, a K–5 math coach, and an elementary STEM supervisor. As an educational presenter and author, she has over 20 years of experience in public education. Georgina works with educators and leaders to build collaborative teams and ensure all students receive high-quality mathematics instruction.

Georgina presents at the local and national level on best practices in mathematics teaching and learning, professional learning communities, mathematics coaching, leadership, culturally relevant practices, and equitable math practices.

Georgina was also the former professional learning director and currently serves as vice president on the NCSM board. She received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
