Jason Hillman is principal of Parkside Elementary School in Wyoming. As a consultant, he has spent more than a decade studying and researching leadership strategies in professional learning communities.
Previously, Jason served as principal of Meadowlark Elementary School, also in Wyoming, for 12 years. Meadowlark was underperforming, but under Jason’s leadership the school was transformed. Meadowlark was named a 2012 National Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education, and Jason was named 2011 National Distinguished Principal for the state of Wyoming by the National Association of Elementary School Principals. He was also named a 2013 Alumni Fellow at Dickinson State University.
Jason graduated with a degree in elementary education from Dickinson State University and a master’s degree in school administration from the University of Wyoming.
