Robert led high school improvement that saw his school grow from 28 percent to 50 percent of students meeting all ACT benchmarks. His elementary school rose from a C rating by the State of Indiana to an A rating. In both cases, through Robert’s leadership, teachers grew professionally as they changed their focus from teaching to student learning. This focus saw a reading growth of 10 percentage points on the reading scores for African American students. In addition, he led his last school in earning Model PLC status and has helped other schools on their journey as well.

Robert received his undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Ontario and his master’s degree in School Administration from Governors State University in Illinois.
