Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott has 15 years of experience in science education. He is currently a classroom teacher and facilitator coach at the 2017 DuFour Award-winning Fern Creek High School in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ryan’s work is focused on improving the effectiveness of collaborative teams and using student data to drive instruction. He specializes in how collaborative teams can implement and fine-tune the PLC process to further improve student success. His school was the recipient of the 2019 Hilliard-Lyons JCPS PLC of the Year.

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in biological education from Michigan State University. He also has a master’s degree from Indiana University Southeast in secondary education and Rank 1 in instructional leadership from Spalding University.
