Ryan Searle is the curriculum director for Carbon County School District #2 in Saratoga, Wyoming. He has served in K–12 administration roles for over 15 years at the elementary and secondary levels, most recently as principal of Rawlins Middle School.

Ryan and his team at Rawlins Middle School realized their vision of excellence in 2024 by becoming a Model Professional Learning Communities (PLC) at Work® school. Collectively committing to the four critical questions and three big ideas of a PLC, they paved a path for their mission, vision, values and goals to flourish. In 2021, Ryan was nominated for the National Distinguished Principal of the Year award. That same year, his school received the Community Builder Award for Carbon County.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Spanish and secondary education from Idaho State University and a master's degree in educational administration from the University of Idaho. Ryan is currently enrolled in the doctoral program in educational leadership from the University of Wyoming.
