Scott Beattie

Scott M. Beattie is the assistant superintendent for instruction of the Windsor Central School District in Windsor, New York. With over 15 years experience, including serving as an associate middle school principal, principal, and teacher, his work centers on professional learning community (PLC) implementation, technology integration, and K–12 career pathway development.

As an instructional leader within a nationally recognized Model PLC at Work® district, Scott has presented at state and national conferences regarding PLC implementation and the Community Schools Model. Additionally, he has served as a consultant and administrative coach to assist school districts with creating PLCs, implementing pyramid response to intervention, building effective guiding coalitions, and using the systems thinking method within a PLC.

Prior to his work at the Windsor Central School District, Scott served as the middle school principal, teachers’ union president, and English teacher at the Harpursville Central School District.

Scott earned a master’s degree in business administration from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, and a bachelor’s degree in English–communications from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York.
