Erica Strick is the principal of Floyd L. Bell Elementary, a Model PLC at Work® school in the Windsor Central School District. With over a decade of experience at all levels, Erica cultivates a culture of high expectations for all students by implementing systematic strategies that effectively address the achievement gap.
Erica plays a critical role in the pursuit of high levels of achievement through the professional learning communities (PLC) process in her building and district. Under Erica’s leadership as the associate principal, Windsor Central Middle School was named one of 2021’s Best Middle Schools by U.S. News and World Report. In 2023, while Erica was principal, Floyd L. Bell Elementary was named Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation.
Prior to her role in educational leadership, Erica was a high school special education teacher. As a teacher, Erica specialized in specially designed instruction that ensured students with disabilities met state learning standards.
Erica received a bachelor’s degree in English from Washington and Jefferson College, a master’s degree in inclusive adolescent education from Nazareth College, and a certificate of advanced study in school building and district leadership from Binghamton University.
