Jessica Tucker is an MTSS behavior specialist for a Model PLC at Work® district in Phoenix, Arizona. She has served as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher, a behavior coach, and a dean of students. Jessica is passionate about leveraging PLC at Work, RTI, MTSS, and PBIS for student growth.
Prior to her current position, Jessica was a behavior coach and classroom teacher at the elementary and middle school levels. She worked alongside her principal as dean of students, and, in 2021, her campus was recognized as a Model PLC at Work school and an Arizona A+ School of Excellence.
Jessica prides herself on being a tenacious educator who believes in high-quality professional development rooted in research-based responses, student data, and the PLC process. Leveraging systematic approaches to meet the needs of the whole child through positive behavior intervention drives her daily work.
Jessica has earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Niagara University. In 2011, she earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the State University of New York at Oswego. Jessica also holds a gifted endorsement in grades K–12 and a master’s degree in educational administration.
