Katherine McCluskey

Katherine McCluskey is the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching, Learning and Accountability at Glen Ellyn School District 41 in Illinois. A former K–12 teacher, she has worked with students and staff with a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. As a district administrator, Katherine has led key initiatives, including a K–8 dual language program, elementary-level foreign language programming, and preK–12 ESL and bilingual programming. She has also led curriculum-writing efforts, developed RTI protocols, and established professional learning communities that have resulted in academic success for students.

Katherine has presented at local and state conferences, and her work has been published by the Center for Applied Linguistics. She has been recognized for her work with EL students.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in administration from Governor’s State University, and a doctor of education degree from Aurora University in leadership in administration.
