Kevin Rich is assistant principal of Rocky Mountain Middle School in Heber City, Utah. Previously, he served as an English teacher, an academic director, a trainer of PLC coaches, and a secondary director of assessment.
Kevin Rich
Kevin Rich is assistant principal of Rocky Mountain Middle School in Heber City, Utah. He began his career as an English teacher at Lakeridge Junior High School. Following his years as an educator, he served as a high school professional learning communities (PLC) coach and academic director and later became a trainer of PLC coaches and secondary director of assessment in the largest district in Utah.
While a teacher at Lakeridge, he led his teams through 10 years of continuous improvement by using the PLC process. Eventually, his English teams became among the highest achievers in the state. During that time, Lakeridge was recognized as a Model PLC at Work® School and a Blue Ribbon School.
He received his bachelor’s degree in secondary English education from Brigham Young University and his master’s degree in educational leadership from Southern Utah University.
