Lisa Cebelak

Lisa Cebelak is a researcher, writer, and national leader in education who has helped thousands of educators transform their potential through a value-driven and human-centered approach. She is a skilled facilitator who believes that human connection is the heart of all things to inspire growth, trust, and personal efficacy with adult learners. Lisa specializes in the areas of secondary literacy, instructional coaching, and curriculum design.

Lisa has vast experience working with teachers, support staff, principals, and curriculum directors in the US, Canada, and Costa Rica. Lisa has presented at a variety of state and national conferences and institutes over the past decade and continues to write for various educational companies. Lisa has worked with teacher teams to build collective efficacy and consistency within a course and grade-level, as well as for vertical alignment. She has also worked with school systems to build literacy frameworks and facilitate literacy across the content areas. She is passionate about what happens after training is provided and works to make sure educators understand how to monitor their actions by reflecting on their learning for true implementation to be sustained.

Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in adult and higher education with emphasis in English language arts from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. She continues her education at the college level, has various certifications, and is a certified trainer for Welcoming Schools for the Human Rights Campaign Foundation to promote equity in school systems.
