Lisa May is an award-winning literacy coach at Kildeer Countryside School District 96, a Model PLC School District. With more than twenty years in the field of education, she has classroom experience ranging from kindergarten through fourth grade.

Lisa May is an award-winning literacy coach at Kildeer Countryside School District 96, a Model PLC School District. With more than twenty years in the field of education, she has classroom experience ranging from kindergarten through fourth grade. Lisa has also served as a reading specialist and interventionist. In 2014, she received a Those Who Excel Award from the Illinois State Board of Education for excellence in elementary literacy coaching.
Lisa earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University Chicago and a master’s degree as a reading specialist from Olivet Nazarene University.
