Angela Peery, EdD, is a consultant and author with over 30 years of experience in the field. She has made over 1000 presentations, published 16 books, and supported scores of schools and districts in improving outcomes. A nationally known literacy program evaluator, Dr. Peery earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, her master’s in liberal arts at Hollins College, and her doctorate in curriculum at the University of South Carolina. She has served as a teacher, instructional coach, high school administrator, middle school turnaround specialist, tutor, and college writing instructor. Her varied roles allow her to bring a unique perspective to school improvement work.
