Brenda Duncan-Davis

Brenda Duncan-Davis is an education consultant. She specializes in bridging education and industry through work-based learning opportunities, registered apprenticeship programs, and professional development in workplace readiness skills. As a former career and technical educator, she created an internship program, education pathway field experiences, and a service-learning course. Her background in work-based learning led to the successful development of the YES! Youth Employability Skills curriculum.

Brenda was recognized as the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) National Teacher of Merit in 2014. Other honors include the AAFCS Indiana Affiliate Teacher of the Year and the Indiana Association of Career & Technical Education Outstanding Teacher of the Year. In 2016, she received the Indiana Association of Career and Technical Education Lifetime Achievement Award.

Brenda completed her education at Indiana University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Home Economics and Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Vocational Education.
