Destiny Reddick
Destiny Reddick, an educator with 17+ years, currently serves as an assistant school leader of instruction at an urban, open-enrollment public charter school. Dedicated to underserved students, she emphasizes achievement and social-emotional empowerment. With public school district leadership and experience as an assistant dean in higher education, Destiny presents nationally, authors instructional frameworks, and mentors teacher leaders.
Destiny Reddick
Dr. Destiny Reddick is an educator with over 17+ years of experience supporting traditionally underserved school systems. She prioritizes instruction and assessment methods that foster academic and social-emotional empowerment for diverse learners. Dr. Reddick is a national presenter in assessment and has guided such work in the second-largest district in St. Louis. Dr. Reddick has served as a district leader, where she authored a K–12 instructional framework and its accompanying professional learning implemented by the district's teacher leaders. As a former assistant dean, Dr. Reddick has prepared educators to serve diverse learners effectively. Dr. Reddick evaluates for WGU and is a Channel Nine/PBS education fellow.
Dr. Reddick recently joined ForbesBLK and was inducted into the National Honor Society of Leadership & Success. She is coauthor of a text IGI Global will publish in 2024 that captures women's leadership experiences in education. Additional accolades include the President's Award for Strategic Leadership in Diversity and Inclusion (2019); Power 100 Honoree (2019), Who's Who Diversity in Color Honoree (2019); Teacher of the Year (2012); Outstanding Missouri Beginning Teacher (2007); Leona Korol Award for Professional Promise (2006).
Dr. Reddick holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a master's degree in early childhood education, a master’s degree in progress for education leadership, and a doctorate in teacher leadership.
