Dr. John F. Eller is a much sought-after consultant and presenter. He provides support for school leaders, teachers, and educators in the United States, Canada, Australia, South America, Europe, and Asia by making concepts practical and straightforward. Dr. Eller offers engaging and informative workshops in a variety of leadership, teaching, and learning topics.
Dr. Eller has served as a high school, middle school, and elementary teacher. He was an elementary principal for 13 years in a variety of neighborhoods and settings. He has also served as an assistant superintendent, the executive director of the Minnesota Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and a principal center director, as well as a professor in educational leadership and the director of a doctoral program in Educational Administration and Leadership for a university in Minnesota. Dr. Eller was honored as a Principal of the Year by Minnesota and was named a National Distinguished Principal by the US Department of Education.
Dr. Eller obtained his master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and his doctorate from Loyola University-Chicago. He has authored and coauthored many books and publications in the educational field, including the bestsellers Trauma-Sensitive Instruction and Energizing Staff as well as Trauma-Sensitive Leadership, Thriving as a New Teacher, Score to Soar, Flip This School, Creative Strategies to Transform School Culture, and So, Now You’re the Superintendent.
