Mike Hagadone

Mike Hagadone, MEd, served as the assistant superintendent of White River School District in Washington State until his retirement in 2020. With 40 years of experience, he is a former teacher, assistant principal, principal, and director of secondary education.

During his tenure as principal at White River High School in Buckley, Washington, the school was recognized as a Washington Achievement Award winner (2011) and a School of Distinction (2012). White River High School was designated as a Model PLC by Solution Tree in 2015.

Mike was selected as the Washington High School Principal of the Year in 2011 and has served as the president of the Washington Association of Secondary School Principals.

He earned a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Idaho and a bachelor’s degree in social studies and secondary education from the University of Idaho.

He is also a coauthor with Robert Eaker, Janel Keating, and Meagan Rhoades of Leading PLCs at Work Districtwide: From Boardroom to Classroom and Leading PLCs at Work Districtwide: From Boardroom to Classroom Planbook.
