Marzano HRS in Arkansas
A harmonious system for quality education
Arkansas is using the Marzano High Reliability Schools framework to align the work of educators with best practices across the state. This framework also empowers Arkansas districts and schools to increase their reliability in providing a quality education to every student.
In January 2019, the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) distributed copies of two Marzano Resources titles—Leading a High Reliability School and A Handbook for High Reliability Schools—to the superintendent and building principals of each school district. These user-friendly teaching resources can help Arkansas educators transform their schools into organizations that take proactive steps to prevent failure and ensure student success.
