Rusty Taylor

Rusty Taylor has been a professional educator since 1997, serving as a science teacher, middle school assistant principal, and principal at both the middle and high school levels. He helped lead Desert Hills High School to Model PLC status in 2016

Rusty was recognized in 2007 as the Life Science Teacher of the Year by the Utah Science Teachers Association. He has been a member of the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals (UASSP) and the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) since 2007, and has contributed two articles to the UASSP magazine, Impact.

Rusty earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in secondary education with an administrative endorsement from Southern Utah University.
