Hillary Woest is a presenter, staff developer, and practitioner with over 24 years of experience in public education. She specializes in supporting Professional Learning Communities (PLC) at Work® and Response to Intervention (RTI) at Work™ in schools by helping them assess, refine, and optimize current systems of support for special populations and challenging demographics. Hillary has played a crucial role in implementing the PLC at Work process in schools and districts across the nation.
Her support for underperforming schools contributed to earning Model PLC at Work designations for two campuses. Additionally, her work in special education at two high schools has been recognized by Texas Education Agency's Region 4 for best practices. She also received the Rotary Club's “Distinguished Service Above Self” award in 2017.
Hillary holds a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from The University of Houston and received her master’s degree in counseling from The University of Houston-Clear Lake.
