Bruce R. Fraser

Bruce R. Fraser, EdD, is an assistant superintendent at a large metropolitan district in Georgia. He has been in education for over 20 years, serving as teacher, principal at the elementary and middle school levels, and director of human resources. He has worked in a variety of schools and communities, as well as with varied stakeholder groups.

While serving as principal, his schools were recognized by Georgia’s Office of Student Achievement as Schools of Excellence. While serving as principal at the middle level, the school was recognized by the Georgia Middle School Association as a Lighthouse School, exemplifying the traits necessary to serve the middle level learner effectively. Dr. Fraser currently serves as a board member with the Principal’s Center at Georgia State University and as a member of Georgia Aquarium’s Educational Advisory Board.

Dr. Fraser earned two undergraduate degrees from the University of Ottawa, with a third undergraduate degree coming from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. He completed his master’s degree in educational administration at the University of Southern Mississippi, his specialist’s degree in educational leadership at the University of West Georgia, and his doctorate in leadership at the American College of Education.
